2026 GMC Canyon Overview
This premium midsize truck is available as a crew cab only and features a standard 310-hp 2.7L TurboMax engine with 8-speed automatic transmission for an impressive 7,700-lb towing capacity. The 2026 GMC Canyon also boasts a 2-inch factory lift, which is boosted to 3-inches on the AT4X trim level for even better off-road performance.
Technology and Trim Packages
Available at Northtown Automotive, the 2026 GMC Canyon comes in four primary trim packages, the Elevation, AT4, AT4X, and the Denali. All trucks offer an 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-speaker Bose audio system, all with bluetooth connectivity. For upper trim levels, the ProGrade Trailering System comes standard as well, in addition to the Canyon Safety Plus package.

Comfort and Design
Noteworthy improvements on the 2026 iteration of this truck include rear window defogger, rear sliding window, and outside heated power mirrors on even the base trim. There is also a cool new trim package add-on Nightfall Essential package at the AT4 level that comes with exterior alterations including AT blackwall tires, and 20-inch machine faced black aluminum wheels.
